Boarding the train with the KORAIL Pass
■ KORAIL PASS Validity
Have you purchased a KORAIL pass and have assigned a seat? When you are done, please note the following before riding.
• You must have a valid KORAIL pass, passport and seat reservation ticket.
• If the ticket is sold out, you can ride in a standing seat with a KORAIL pass and a valid passport.
■ Trains you can ride with the KORAIL Pass
Most of the passenger trains can be boarded with a KORAIL pass. With a valid KORAIL pass and ticket (or standing seat), you can board the next train.

■ Trains that cannot be boarded with a KORAIL Pass
Most of the trains that cannot be boarded are tourist trains, urban railroads, and trains operated by companies other than KORAIL.
In case of illegal use that violates valid use, a fine of 10 to 30 times the normal rate is imposed as shown in the table below.
When the boarding station cannot be confirmed, it is assumed that the train was boarded at the original station.

High-Speed Train : SRT in South Korea
This train is not a train belonging to KORAIL that provides the KORAIL Pass. Therefore, you cannot ride with a KORAIL pass.
